How much does it cost?
All orders to UK mainland addresses (excluding Northern Ireland, Highlands and Isles) are sent FREE of charge. Please contact us for a quote for areas outside UK mainland.
How long does it take?
Items ordered on any business day (Monday to Friday) excluding Bank Holidays should be delivered within 1-5 business days.
We rely upon the services of third party couriers, and whilst we endeavour to maintain our delivery dates, there are unfortunately occasions where this is not the case. This happens rarely, but because it does occur, we cannot be held responsible for the late delivery of an item. For the avoidance of doubt Hedstrom will not refund any delivery charges if the courier has failed to deliver the order on the anticipated delivery date.
Who do we use?
Orders addressed within the UK mainland, Northern Ireland, Highlands and Isles are usually sent by DHL or TNT. You can choose any convenient delivery address, but you must arrange for someone to be present to receive and sign for the package on the expected delivery date.
Where a parcel cannot be delivered (e.g. no-one at home) you will be notified by the courier to arrange a suitable time for re-delivery. The courier will only attempt one re-delivery, thereafter you willl be required to collect your parcel from the collection depot within 5 days. If your parcel is not collected within 5 days it will be returned to us. We can accept delivery and redirection changes to ensure delivery of your parcel. Occasionally parcels are delayed due to poor addressing or signposting. We may need to give the courier your telephone number in case they need to contact you regarding the delivery.
What to do if there is a problem with the delivery
If the parcel does not arrive when you expect it then please don’t hesitate to contact us.
What about if I change my mind?
You are entitled to a 7 day cooling off period from when you receive the item, if you change your mind about the item and have not used it or put it together and it is still in it’s original full packaging then you are entitled to send it back to us for a refund on the product price. We cannot refund delivery costs or the costs of returning the item back to us. If the item is damaged or faulty then please contact us via the online ticket system on the contact us page.
